Riding on the back of the "Cheap 70s shite" post, whats your fave cheapie 70s LP track? Heres a few for starters;

4 tops and Supremes-Dont you miss me etc-Motown (Double Dynamite LP)

David Ruffin-Questions-Motown (In my stride LP)

Wilson Williams-I like being in love, plus a couple of others-ABC (Up the downstairs LP)

You're right Rog 'Stranger in my life' it is! Without digging the album out,it probably is 81,but sounds 70ish,see you soon Mr Picky!

CLOSER THAN CLOSE,Nancy & ramsey,dont think its rare but could be wrong,columbia,credit where credits due though!,the person singing is Darrell Colley,think thats spelt right.later Ken PS it is album only track!

I think his three atlantic lps from this time are all really good "supernatural" and "Let me live in your love" are both very listenable lps for about £5.00 each. :excl:

Used to play both of these at Cleethorpes early 80's, both superb and still cheap. Why on earth Mel & Tim wasn't a big record I will never know... :shhh::excl:

Esther Phillips - Native New Yorker, great stepping version,

First Choice - Let Me Down Easy, suporb version of the rare Pleasure gem,

a few others I came across

Younghearts - All The Love In The World/Do You Have The Time To Waste (awesome side)

LV Johnson Are You Serious

Sandra Feva - Leaving This Time.

Can do mp3s at moment as cant work out how to hook cd into mixer/turntables, terchnically beyond me at moment, when can work it out am happy to put these and other postings on cd if anyone wants a copy pm me,

The enchantment track is excellent but I keep playing another track on the album"Im not the one you lost but the one you found" -Its got such a catchy chorus it could be a big number if promoted. :D
