I did hear that one of the DJs of our time sadly passed away a couple of years ago I danced my heart out at the majority of the alldayers much the same as others as I got more experienced at the dancing I worked my way towards front as you did in them days ...incorporated gym moves as part of my (hence being nicknamed Mrs backflip) I still have my raf blue spencer skirt ...can only get one leg in the waist these days tho LOL Will you be joining us for the reunion? Thats because Palais was doing a hell of a lot of the breaking/covering up of new record finds at the time Correct me if I'm wrong Mand Jonathan....Have Tracey and Andy asked you to DJ???? Guest Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 I recall in the late 80's early 90's when I was on Radio Trent doing lots of dance/Motown stuff, and getting sent an invitation to a Palais all dayer doo on a bank holiday Monday, and the first however many thru the door got a vinyl copy of Bari Track, still got mine, but who would have organised that gig? and did anyone here go/remember it?
