So 1 year advance is a long time ! Mick thought he might be away for 6 weeks or so He thought it best to warn us and cancel well over 5 months ago. As with all these events we have ended up with twice as many DJs as we originally booked so theres something for everyone ! REMINDER ALL TRADE/ RECORD STALLS TAKEN Please do not bring large Boxes of records for sale into the event. A 50 or 100 box is ok. Friday afternoon session. "Yockies room" (enter by the Spa North Entrance opposit the South Cliff Hotel) EXCHANGE YOUR TICKETS FOR WRIST BANDS for FAST TRACK entry on Friday evening Saturday afternoon "Bring a box" Charity Record Fair, any size box £5 per box "Tax" (all boxes Tagged to prove payment--no cheating !) straight into the Bluebell Wood charity collection bucket. 12 til 4.30 dig out those spare copies and if you do well sales wise you might even chuck some more in the bucket !! Naughty Boy Posted June 24, 2009 Share Posted June 24, 2009 MOVE ON UP well i spose summat had to go wrong, we had intended sticking in yet a further room this weekend grass roots soul Club room or soul sourcer room or summat like that in the gallery room which is off the balcony, but its with regret that this is now down the drain, i was about to ring and speak to the Spa when the manager rang me to inform me that our rare/underplayed chill room is a total rightoff due to a massive leak in the said room yesterday that went unnoticed for about five hours and wrecked the room ( NEW FL0OR AND THE LOT NEEDED). Its damaged the theatre also. So its plan B... weve moved the rare room into what would have been our Rnb Hipster room and this as been moved into the gallery suite... so no 5th room . Just as well we had a spare room so apologies to all . but things happen that you cannot control or plan other than having "plan b" Rob Link to comment

Setting of around 4pm really excited about this first time ive been to Bridlington since the number ones meeting in 1983 ! I dont think my fat arse could stand 5 hours on a scooter now.
