Ian Seaman Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 Thanks to all who braved the mad temperatures in Grantham last night , yes thats right the club manager left the heating on full power all day and when we arrived to set up at 7pm my skin was already peeling . A good opening night helped by the magic touch of Andy smith who kept the dance floor moving nicely, Andy & i double decked the last 30 mins to keep as many as possible on the floor it was classic oldies at the ready with a sprinkling of something different or not heard for ages ( Delorise Berry ) Thanks to andy & Paul Green ( who ran across the road to Asda at 8pm to buy 2 lamps and a cash box, well when i say cash box he actually came back with a pink pencil case !! ) Next night is March 20th with Carl fortnum.
