Great crowd to play to ,full floor for majority of the set, couple of gripes about the music but hay thats the beauty of Soulfusion , you can leave and go to another room if its not to your taste. Agree with Neil , folks will always get to where they want to go , hats off to the guys and gals that battled their way through counties in some crappy weather but I think they were not dissappointed with another top night @ Soulfusion. See you all soon. Mart Ps Photos being forwarded to Neil now! Link to comment

Supercorsa
It was my first visit to Soulfusion, definately not the last. I went along with my mate (brother in law) and we're already looking ahead to when we can go again. Spent all night in the main hall, in which I must say is a fantastic venue (great bar with regards to staff/choice of beers/prices) just a 5 mins drive from the in-laws. Upon first arriving thought the weather would stop people attending, how wrong can you be? I think it must have been Neil Self who played the tune of the night for me (Joe Simon ). Anyway thanks for a great night, hope to be attending again soon. Link to comment

Jerry Hipkiss
I know I'm biased, but what an excellent night again. Like others, I'd wondered if the weather would affect numbers, but no, another packer! Spent more time in the modern room, Lloydees 3-year retrospective set was outstanding, liked Neil Rushtons Temps remix (my nephew said "sounds like a Joey Negro mix to me" then Neil tells me it's Paul Simpson...), all three rooms still busy at the end, main room outstanding, still amazes first-timers...thanks for all the nice comments about my set, all I want is to see that dancefloor rockin', no politics, can't remember all I played but it included Jimmy Fraser, Shalimars, Clifford Binns, Joy Lovejoy (couldn't see a spare space on the floor to that!), Natural Four, Satisfactions, sandy Wynns, Vonettes etc. etc... Roll on March! Hippo. Link to comment

You also did a superb set in the northern room and played a perfect set for our northern soul crowd, so thanks for that too. Hopefully we will see you in March. best regards Neil Link to comment

cmc
Great night Neil. Well done mate. Didn't think we were going to get there at one stage with the terrible driving conditions and fallen trees all over the road. Really surprised how packed it was considering the weather conditions. We all really enjoyed the night, some great tunes being played in the Northern room as you can see from the play lists. Also, great run Modern room. A very well organised venue, excellent bar. Top nights work by all the dj's. Something there for everyone. Northern, Modern and Soul Classic room. See you soon mate. Charlie Mc Banbury Soul Club Link to comment
Neil Self
Great night Neil. Well done mate. Didn't think we were going to get there at one stage with the terrible driving conditions and fallen trees all over the road. Really surprised how packed it was considering the weather conditions. We all really enjoyed the night, some great tunes being played in the Northern room as you can see from the play lists. Also, great run Modern room. A very well organised venue, excellent bar. Top nights work by all the dj's. Something there for everyone. Northern, Modern and Soul Classic room. See you soon mate. Charlie Mc Banbury Soul Club Charlie, thanks a lot mate, it means a hell of a lot to hear it from my buddies at banbury, especially when I am djing there in the near future. Good news also for you, Steve Lloyd & I are more than happy to come and help establish your modern room if and when it comes off, you only need to ask mate and we will be there from the off. I am particularly interested as I love nu/modern soul but never get the opportunity to get out and play at my event, there are so many other things to do in an evening. best regards Neil Link to comment

Neil Self
It was my first visit to Soulfusion, definately not the last. I went along with my mate (brother in law) and we're already looking ahead to when we can go again. Spent all night in the main hall, in which I must say is a fantastic venue (great bar with regards to staff/choice of beers/prices) just a 5 mins drive from the in-laws. Upon first arriving thought the weather would stop people attending, how wrong can you be? I think it must have been Neil Self who played the tune of the night for me (Joe Simon ). Anyway thanks for a great night, hope to be attending again soon. Thanks for the splendid write up, really pleased you thought it was worth the trip up. we look forward to your future support. best regards Neil Link to comment
