Guest swoz
MANY THANKS TO THE 4 PROMOTERS WHO ASKED IF THEY COULD TAKE OVER THE EVENT FROM ME. AFTER CAREFULL CONSIDERATION, RONA AND I HAVE DECIDED TO CONTINUE TO RUN THE OAKLEY OURSELVES, BUT ARE OPEN TO A PARTNERSHIP WITH ANYONE , WHO WOULD LIKE TO JOIN US. MY REASONS ARE THAT I OWE LOYALTY TO MY RESIDENT DJs WHO STUCK BY ME TO GET THIS CLUB RUNNING AND I NEEDED A GUARANTEE THAT THEY WOULD REMAIN RESIDENTS. SECONDLY WAS A PROMISE I HAVE MADE TO BISHOP WOOD PROMOTERS NOT TO PUT AN ALLNIGHTER ON CLASHING DATES, MANY THANKS TO ALL SWO NEXT VENUE FEBRUARY 21st Edited January 19, 2009 by swoz Link to comment
Soft Walker
I'll look forward to the next nighter at this great venue. If it is only half as good as new years eve was it'll be a great night. I enjoyed it more than I have for the last couple of years at the Kings hall on new years eve. Great music policy. In my opinion the mix of classics & lesser known/played stuff was very good. Unfortuntely I missed Ian James set that night which was my only disappointment!! Link to comment
