I do realise why Mike Hughes has changed the sales thread, so that people who have just five records to sell don't stay bumped at the top, but it's most unfortunate for me and these soul packs, because I have eighty thousand records, everyone has STILL been delighted so far, and now the thread is almost down to page three purely because of its start date.

Well - no use me complaining - it'll just become a case of "Oh no, not Levine again", but it does seem like I'm the one person to be hit unfairly by this, especially as they all cost me more than I'm selling them for, and I'm busting my balls to make sure everybody goes away happy.

Anyway, hopefully Mischief will post up a review once he picks up his records today.

once can see see how the trial has gone (24 hrs left)

will be looking at some issues that have come up

re-listing is one that have had a few q's about

best post any q's/concerns in thread below

Bit confused at what Stephen Bishop's done.

It's his prerogative, but he's kept all the sixties stuff out of my bargain soul pack of 300 for £300, and he's trying to sell off the 70s stuff at £2.50 each.

It's his choice, but I'm not sure that it's fair, particularly to me. He's listing this lot further up the Sales forum..

But he got every single one of these off me at less than a pound each, if you count in the extra few I threw in above the 300.

I TOLD you all it was a bargain. But each pack is different.

Ian, I know you live in a parallel universe , but the whole appeal of soul packs is that you can keep what you like, sell or trade what's not for you and still remain happy. You are uneasy this direct retail game are you not ?

Can you imagine John Anderson being dismayed at people re-selling and off loading the gems in his packs from the 70s and 80s, which were, the finest packs the world will ever see....... a sale's a sale.. I'm sure a lot of people are gonna get lots of bargains but with every soul pack there is a lot of un-saleable old bollox.. I've probably bought around 30 or so packs over the years and ALL have been top value because I buy and sell and collect, not everybody wants to amass a load of 45s for the sake of it.. Most keep the ones they really love..

Knock them out, move on..

Business is business, like your new release records.

Good luck with the sales, but please let go !, once they gone, they gone !

I would like to think that's not the case with mine, that's why I've been handpicking them so carefully, to be a collector's dream.

Thanks for the common sense point of view Russ.

Ian, just a thought, why not start a new thread with each pack sold...ie number them Super Soul Pack 14 etc. Might be a way of keeping these bargains on the front page.

Steve
