little known girl group - The Sandpipers

I'm almost certainly making a fool of myself here, but isn't Lonely Too Long a male vocal? Or was that not the Sandpipers?

There may be a male voacl, but the Sandpipers has been filling the dancefloor at SITC and TOS in London for a good few years. It is a female harmony tune. Very 60s not a hell of a long way away from stuff like the Chiffons.

lonley too long is by the male group the sandpipers who ithink where from detroit ,white group differant to the female group the sandpipers mentioned in su.n ,male group abig play for spencer and fourtnum in the early ninties.
