Mike Posted July 13, 2006 Share Posted July 13, 2006 new member system due to hackers and actions of a few ex-members have found it necessary to have two levels of members account to enble this site to continue mint minus and mint accounts the mint minus account- is for those who have no need for the full features of soul source and is for those who prefer a degree of anonymity or no need for a clear id the mint account - is the same as the old "member" account and is aimed at the vast majority of members who have a clear id this setup will hopefully enable soul source to get over (and prevent in future) the damage a very some % of members have caused with false accounts and other underhand actions and get back on track please note - a clear id is a known to the site id - as in we know its real all members will be in the mint minus group on joining any new member who wishes to have a mint account, has three options confirms their id either by 1. posting a decent intro in the intro shout forum 2. emailing/pm-ing the site a "proper" email, website or details of real id (this can remain private) 3. getting a mucker to refer them the terms and service for site has been updated and can be found here https://www.soul-source.co.uk/artic...e.php/c24/12584 this covers the use of accounts where possible all current accounts with a clear id have been moved to the mint group, but time and such has meant that there are still a fair few awaiting move, will be done when time allows, but best bet is to pm one of the mods this system is now up and running Link to comment
