That was a bit more like it last night, really enjoyed the night, good cross section of tunes played, numbers on the rise, in our policy on residents night to give some of the locals a chance to spin a few tunes a big well done to Paul Roger Bailey who did so well on the decks, both Alan & Andy proved what good DJ's they are playing tunes that had the floor moving all night, all in all a good night.....back to our normal date in March first Saturday with guest Mark Lester.

You don't need to wait long for something to come along you like & know, and for those who like all sorts of soul no need to wait at all because it's all good, friendly welcome to both new and old friends...cheap bar, easy to find just 1 mile off junction 27 of the M1 on the A608 towards Heanor...

Just a reminder we are on Saturday 31st January this month (not our normal first week in February) because of the welfare at Underwood double booking the venue..... Resident's night.....Barry Cooper, Andy Barker & Alan Rigby plus Paul Roger Bailey spinning the tunes. We are a across the board soul night, not a modern night, we do play some modern but play lots of classics including, Northern, Motown, crossover, and everything in between even a tad of R&B.....

Back by popular demand (well from Linda) another night of Motown memories, with a touch of Atlantic & Stax, playing the whole range of Motown rare to commercial...starts at 8pm tho' till 12.30am wooden dance floor, good bar, car park, just off the A 1 near Grantham.

Thanks to those who came over to ATB Soul on NYE, fantastic sets from both Cressy and Spive could not of asked for better, also to Jeff James who although on early doors gave us a taste of how good he is, from all of us at ATB Soul Happy New Year. ps next date is Saturday January 31st 'Residents night plus Paul Roger Bailey (welfare double booked) so we are on this night and not first Saturday in February - this month only atb Barry
