I may be at odds here, but I get no soul at all in her voice.

They’re digital DJs though aren’t they? Interesting that they’ve now started putting out vinyl...
If I’m honest, my impression is that their marketing/image (DNSC T shirts, badges etc) is a higher priority than the music.
Quite agree, mention themselves more than Lester on the label...

Hopefully this re-release will make the original a less interesting prospect to play, and hopefully the price will drop and I'll get a chance to complete my La Beat collection

Be thankful--the chances of you getting an original are pretty much nil--if you can find one, you'll pay up the wazoo! #iknowfromexperience
Most are chasing his other release....

Sorry to appear to go off the subject but it is actually related. Did Searling play Marvin Gaye Love Starved Heart at Wigan or was it a Stafford play ?
No, it wasn’t “ discovered until,1979/80

I've asked mate in NJ to get me one. He's having a copy too
I collect USA Motown so figured it can go in that box. I do seem to have three legit copies already.
Only thing I'm dubious about is purple vinyl. Rather have black and I reckon should have the choice on the day.
How have you managed that Rod, I’ve been in touch with the pressing plant and they can’t tell me anything?

Wash your mouth out, that was an old cover up of mines, maybe not my finest moment but a decent strangulated screaming singing kind of uptempo rocker. Or are my glasses romantic flower tinted?
"Don't Look Down" is okay, but the flip is ruined by some awful guitar overdub, would sound good without it.
-
Yes quite, and why bother putting the awful Billy Storm on at all!
-
Andy Newman should be disqualified from further entries !
I should add I was nearly a runner up in the one that Dave Rimmer won !
-
Mine just arrived - get in!!

What is that anyway? Never heard of it. Never heard of half these tracks to be honest.
Terrible version of Lou Pride from Acid Jazz

What a brilliant concept, just like doing a tape and then charging for it!

The Fabulous Peps records were fantastic, would've loved to have seen them in their prime, RIP Ronnie x

Thanks
Another legend gone :-(

I will be released. One of Andy's mates has been laying it out. Martin Koppell recently interviewed and Andy was recently transcribing it as it was all on video. Last I heard summer time this year.
Sounds good to me!

Received my replacement Sharpees 45 for the mispress that plays "Valdons" this morning

Yes Brent, I have, you wont be disappointed!
