Never met the guy but so glad to help out where i can. A similar thing happened to me 10 months ago and one of my friends stepped in and gave me almost £19000 in 1 cheque to sort the problem out, which it did ! Now i have about £45,000/55,000 of vinyl probably and was about to start the big sell off process when he stopped me and said that i wasn't to sell off my vinyl to pay him back until i was ready to sell it and he knew full well the enjoyment i get out of it and he is more then happy to accept a small monthly payment until that day i decide to sell up, he wanted nothing more from me other then the same sum he gave me !!! It still chokes me up now when i look back and realise we were 5 days from losing everything !! I wish him the very best of luck in the future. Ian.

Oh & sold my Sassy WDJ for £450 last year (had this is just a B side) as B side Seen a fair few of these on TT over the years, remember it selling for £3 or £4 regular, seen one recently too for sale but can't think where, sure it was £300/350 and it was MINT, don't think it,s that rare it needs auctioning but there again John has put up some ordinary stuff lately Lenny Curtis with a nice 3 pronged centre looks much better Ian.

I have an Italian LP of it too, ITWYW as Frank Beverly !!! & has "Love" also has Dee Dee Sharp - WKOL on it Saint Martin Records - "Piu Ritmo Che Blues No 1" also has The Intruders , Johnny Thunder , Vernon Harrell , Bobby Marchan & The Sandpebbles. says original recordings from Calla & Gamble No date on it tho and i have no idea when it,s from. EG - The Impressions - Can't satisfy - On ABC is about £15/20 ??, so what value a Canadian Sparton issue ?? Based on the size of the country V population etc etc ??, did the Sparton copies end up for sale in the US ?? and how much rarer are they ?? What about Sparton WDJ's ?? are they a lot rarer then US ABC Demo's again based on population & not as many radio stations etc Not just ABC & The Impressions tho, talking across the board here on all major US labels and even smaller local releases. Anyone any ideas ?? as price guides don't show them ?? Cheers, Ian.

I have some specialist alloy wheel cleaner in my shed that cost me a fortune, wonder if it will work, think it's either armour all or that expensive one in the white bottles ?? will look at the contents to see if it has what you say in it !! would never have thought of alloy wheel cleaner Ta, Ian.

Recently bought some Stucco equipment boxes for all my gear ( No, i mean electrical gear ) the cases are Stucco aluminium that look a bit scruffy/dirty/tired on the outside and just wondered if there was a magical product out there that folk use to clean them ????? or maybe a home brew concoction ??? anyone any ideas ?? I have my collection added to my house/contents policy, the insurance company (now called aviva) didn't want any info on how many, individual values etc just a ball park figue on value, cost me an extra £65 to add them and it covers a box of records up to £24999 to take out DJing (ie out of the house), that was the max they would allow and about right for the box i normally carry to venues. I had a lodger who used to use my laptop which is in my record room (spare 3rd bedroom ), he stood on and snapped a few records i had laying on the floor which included a 7 Souls issue , my own fault i suppose for leaving them laying around but insurance company coughed up £550 no problems and i still have the record (& no it won't play !!), i gave my value and they accepted it, not sure if they did crosscheck it with another source or not ! each & every quote will be different i suppose. get mullered 1st then give everyone your life story on the mic before each record that starts at 1rpm loud up to 45rpm , only joking , just enjoy it and most importantly use ovo !!!! Ian.

do we know who's making these boots ??, instead of whinging about sellers and ebay pratts who bid with their own hard earned not ours , why not go after the maker !! surely this is illegal, not only to sell them but to press them ?? or is this a no brainer Ian.
