  5. Sunday’s may never be the same, this will be a ‘Pure Soul Extravagance’ to behold at one of the friendliest venues around. Great location with Bus, Train and Taxi’s on the doorstep and to boot good real ales at excellent prices. All ‘Lost Souls’ from near or afar are welcome

  6. Looking forward to warming this one up, if you want to hear some quality tunes such as Chico Lamar, Four Sights and Winstons to name just a few then the early the spot is for you, a paired set session from East to West coast of the U.S.A and a couple of labels of choice pairs also thrown in just for Easter

What a cracking night which is still ringing in my ears, some of the early warm up underplayed so soulful music was just brilliant, then for a great mix and blend of rare, forgotten with a splattering of current biggies expertly delivered by Messer’s Dave Ferguson, Julian Bentley, Shaun Fitton and not forgetting mine host Roman kept the full house attentive and dancing all night. The club was reasonably full from very early on so a fest of real soul was relished throughout the night. It was just one of those throwback nights that occasional hits the majority which in turn created such a great atmosphere. A £1 entry and cheap real ale with terrific bar service also helped a little….

Nice review Julian, it is a cracking little club which hasn't disappointed yet, something for everyone, very friendly and as you say cheap ale... The cross section of music is refreshing even regulars enjoy watching proper folk just enjoying themselves, look forward to seeing you on here new year. ATB. Martin.
