Spent a few very enjoyable hours at this soul session yesterday, great music played, plenty of requests of mine for tracks were played too. Great venue and handy for the trains if you are planning on using them. Many thanks Deano and not to forget the guys behind the bar who kept us all hydrated, I will be back as they say. And no Billy Woods doesn't jump Deano. Cheers, Dave. Longton, Preston.

    CLITHEROE SUNDAY SOUL

Very enjoyable afternoon, many thanks to all concerned, nice to see the younger folk there as well, great venue I will try and get back there a bit more over winter I have always enjoyed my visits to this session - Thanks again.
  4. A big thank's to all who arranged and took part yesterday it was absolutely brilliant, one of the best day's I have had for a long while and all for a worthy cause and in memory of a great guy, roll on the next one.
  5. Great event today, and no shorts or trainers in sight, too cold for shorts and I can't dance in trainers. Thanks to all concerned for providing us with an afternoon of great music and some fascinating videos as a back drop in what is a top class venue.

It seems a better idea than lots of people taking individual cars over the M62, car sharing might be a good option. I have not attended any soul venues for more years than I care to mention, despite listening to our treasured music for all of this gap, the soul mini cruise just appealed to me, I wish I had done the last one. Please advise anyone. DW
  8. Hi Sue I am new to this like you despite being long term soulie, and I have booked on it. I booked this event after hearing how good the last one was, if you go on the P&O website and look at Mini Cruises it will direct you to the soul cruise in November. I rung them up to confirm the transfers and they assure me that there will be a transfer to Amsterdam, although you will note on the tram may be a better option if you look at the posts on the events page. For info Rotterdam is the port for Amsterdam for cruise ships. I hope this helps clarify what your quer
