What a cracking night at The Harold! The room was buzzing from the get go - the DJs all played storming sets & kept the dance floor busy all night. Well done guys - you nailed it! Great to see lots of new faces, with people saying that The Harold had been recommended to them by some of our regulars. Thanks for the recommendation guys - it's much appreciated! Thanks too to the hard-working bar staff - rushed off their feet as usual.

Feedback from around the room was all very positive - everyone seemed to have a great night & the new faces all said they will definitely be back. Roll on Friday 21st March. when our guest DJ will be Shirley Stevenson (Nottingham) will be joining us for a guest spot.

Fantastic night at the The Harold Club - thanks to Joe Burnside who smashed it with his set - top notch selection helping me and Stuart Eastwood to keep the dance floor buzzing all night. We appreciate everyone’s support, especially venturing out on a cold January night. Big thanks to Chris Jenkinson for taking lots of photos ..... top snapper if ever there was one!

Everyone seemed to have a really good night & the feedback was all great. Here's a nice comment on Facebook from from Chris J......... "The Harold Club in Bradford was great.. My type of music and really hit the spot... This is a Venue to watch out for... Has great potential.

Hi all - Kath here with a bit of feedback from last night at The Harold Club.

We knew we were in for a busy night cos of the ticket sales - we already had around 40 people in before we officially opened the doors at 8pm & the atmosphere was buzzing from the get-go!

A few people had tickets reserved on the door but didn't make it to join us, but we also had quite a few turned up just "on spec" so we ended up with a full house anyway!

A lot of our regulars had also brought along family members & we had a much more mixed crowd than usual, so it wasn't the right time for the DJs to concentrate solely on playing their normal mix of R&B & rarer tunes. They decided to throw a few classics & more well-known atb soul into the mix too - a bit of "something for everyone" so to speak. Most of the feedback that we've had was very positive & pretty much everyone said they'd had a great night. Next month Soul Brew will be back to spinning their usual mix of rarer soul, R&B & floorfillers that always go down well with all our regulars.

As always - thanks & well done to all the DJs - thanks too to the hard-working bar staff who were rushed off their feet from the word go! Last but by no means least, thanks to everyone who came to support us last night - Happy New Year to all & hope to see you at our next event at The Harold on Friday 17th January, when our guest DJ will be Joe Burnside.

Hope everyone had a great day yesterday & that Santa made all your wishes come true!  Now I'm looking forward to yet another cracking Boxing Night at The Harold - tickets are not quite sold out - I've still got 6 spare & they'll be up for grabs on the door tonight. First come first served!

Thanks to everyone who came to The Harold Club for SoulBrew’s soul night- fantastic night with a real focus on oldies and stompers which kept the dancefloor buzzing all night. A massive shout out to Steve Sowerbutts who spun a cracking set- and donated his fee to Prostate Cancer UK. The total raised on the night was a brilliant £112.62. Steve Sowerbutts - our favourite guest DJ - will be donating his fee for tonight to his charity fundraiser for prostate cancer & I will be rattling a bucket on the door for donations too. Good on you Steve - fingers crossed we manage to raise a decent amount for you - I'm sure The Harold Club regulars will do you proud! 

As per usual, Soul Brew will be playing a good mix of favourite old stompers, rare & underplayed with a nice bit of 60s R&B thrown in for good measure.......

all played with the dancers in mind - BRING IT ON!!!

Hi all - Kath here with a bit of feedback from last night at The Harold Club.
By the time we officially opened the doors at 8pm, we had around 20 people in, so it was already shaping up to be a good night. In the end we didn't have quite so many as on our first few events at The Harold due to other events nearby, but still a decent turn out with a great atmosphere. All the feedback was good & absolutely everyone said they'd had a really good night. The DJs played a good range of tunes - big thanks to Soul Brew DJs Marc, Stuart & Steve - plus our guest DJ Lawrence Grimshaw - for keeping the dance floor busy. Well done guys! 
Thanks to all those who turned out to support us - as always you are all very much appreciated! Thanks too to Chris Jenkinson, who took lots of photos of the night.
Now we're looking forward to our next event at The Harold on Friday 15th November, when our guest DJ will be Steve Sowerbuttts & the tunes will be banging oldies & stompers all the way! Hope you can make it to join us.

It was bloody FAB - we had around 20 people in before we'd even opened the doors, so we knew we were in for a busy night!! The atmosphere was great from the get-go & it was really good to see so many of the old regular faces back at The Harold.

Thanks & well-done to Soul Brew Djs Marc, Steve, Stuart & Carl, plus guest Dj Chris Wormald - you nailed it guys! That dance floor was busy all night.

PS - Chris - the Harold Club steward - is so pleased with how things are going with Soul Brew that he was really keen to book us in for next year! So.......we are now in the Harold diary for every 3rd Friday right up until Boxing Night 2025!
