For the best in Soul, Northern Soul, Ska, Reggae, R&B and Motown. Music produced each and every week by me Degzy Delgrano. Always looking to find that popular beat that will keep you on your feet. My favorite venue is the Twisted Wheel in Manchester, home of soul and you will always find like minded people there and so friendly.

  2. 18 years as the first place to visit for top original 60,s soul that cannot be beaten. Pete Roberts and the gang do an outstanding job. If not on your list it should be.
  3. Lots of chat about this record however I have just received a copy in mint condition from Detroit and seems okay and meets the same criteria as described above. May be a counterfeit not sure. Could be genuine as the label is moulded at edges and this usually is a good sign

Your gonna love the sounds played by top DJ's in a cellar club environment and truly an atmospheric experience. Colin Curtis you will remember from Torch days and he will not disappoint so head for room 2. Resident DJ's Pete Roberts, John Green and Jock Heron will hammer out the sounds from 1961 through to 1971 so make a date!

    Skull Snaps On The Side

An experiment in Soul that covers, Motown, SKA, Northern Soul, New Breed R&B and Two Tone. All DJ's are local and well known. A fantastic night for charity and soul
  11. I know how difficult it is to have a Friday night but if at all possible I would always go for that as a choice because: - It gives me Saturday and Sunday to recover before I go back to work on a Monday. (Old I know) As for the music and whether I have heard all of the tracks that were available at the time I can say that from 1968 onwards I had different priorities, family etc etc. So I can still hear tracks that were availble at the time and say I had not heard them before? If the club moved again it would still be the Twisted Wheel because of the feeling of belonging when you see all of the fantastic huge family that are Wheelers'
