    THREE SIX ALL NIGHTER

Coming over from Wales after finishing work at 10pm. Aim to hit the ground running so save me a space on the floor!

soulknights northern soul at connahs quay

I'll be there, my local night, always gutted when I (rarely) miss it. This is one of THE best 'hidden gem' friday nights out there. Great venue, easy to get to from all over the north west/midlands/Wales, floor filling tunes all night and plenty of seating. Deserves to be up there with the more well known nights. Get on it, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks Steve. Yes I did, Good night, met some nice people and danced to some great tunes. Left before the end though to go to Burnley allnighter where I stayed till about 5, sweated a lot and then drove home in torrential rain and floods. Great night all round.

    HORWICH RMI

Thanks for making a RMI virgin feel welcome. Great, friendly crowd in a class venue. A good mix of tunes that kept the floor full, pretty much all night. Met some really nice people and look forward to coming back over from Wales very soon.

How Far Would You Go? Journeys To Events

It would probably be closer to row over to a Norwegian Soul Night
  7. Living in rural Wales, without a car, with friends who didn't have a love of Soul, meant getting to events could be a pain in the bum, but of course, always worth it. One regular journey was to The Carlton in Morecambe. Two mile walk into town (The village I lived in only had two buses, one out at 7.30am and one in at 5.30pm), then bus from town to Rhyl. Tra..

    (Countdown) Here I Come

Ideal. I'm a chef, so always have the 'chef's weekend' (Sunday and Monday) off. A sunday 'dayer will always be tempting.

Yeah, I'm seriously considering Burnley now, heard LOTS of good things and recommendations about it. So I think I'll have to knock my Friday visit to Soulknights on the head in order to conserve my dancing energy (sorry guys, you're my local night, don't worry I'll be there next time). I'm going to head to Horwich early, then make my way round the corner to Burnley later. Best start doing some stretches!

    BURNLEY ALL NIGHTER.

What time's last entry? I'm coming up from Wales to Horwich RMI Soul Night and it would be a pity to miss the allnighter, what with it only being 'round the corner'!

    HORWICH RMI

Hoping (90% certain) to make it over from Wales, because this sure looks like a good'un. I'm sure the welcome in the hillsides of Lancashire will make it worth the effort.
