  3. Sad, my deepest sympathy go out to Val and family Big Respect RIP DAVE
  4. Looking forward to banging out some tunes some known some unknown, Thanks for asking me Gaz Dekka and Dan Illya
  5. Hi Martin, There is a lot to the Chambers Brothers story, I am very surprised no one has made a film about them and their hardships but I suppose you have to be careful what you say and ware, as you could be sued by these large corporations. Getting back to the tunes "Are you ready" totally agree much more rockier and busy, but the people who book me know what they are going to get or they feel sorry for me. I have and have listened to heavier being played out, Chubby Checker "Gypsy" for one
  6. I am nowhere near 60 honest, DJed at Whitby and survived the crucifixion by whale bone, strung up by that Dracula character.
  7. I was once DJin at my mates 60th birthday do on the out skirts of Leeds his name is Andy Hudson, people were giving me birthday cards once I received 2 records through the post, I've met an other Andy Hudson who DJs too I can't work it out because I'm Spartacus.
  8. What quality to be seen, a few years back may be about 7 or 8 I used to DJ with some old geezers by the names Sean and Nige at places Stoke, Blackpool, Whitby and other places. The backbone of my sets used to be the Chambers Brothers with awesome tunes "Are You Ready" and "I Can't Stand It". Having played these sounds I started hearing at least one of the tune up and down the country, was it down to their radio show in South Wales. It was great to hear the likes of Ginger Taylor playing "I Can't Stand It" at Lowton near Manchester I heard it played at Rugby and not just by me. I have started playing a couple more Chambers Brothers in todays set anyway sit back and play that video again even louder.
