  1. Great work, and quite a few unknown titles I'll now have to research. Happy to own 60 of them. May I suggest adding Jonathan Capree & both Hayes Cottons. Cheers.......... Pete
  2. Couple of options Andy... 1) join the FB group "Rare Soul Valuations" and 2) check out historical eBay sales on popsike.com. You'll need to be very clear about the provenance of your vinyl, ie original release, legal reissue or bootleg.. FB group "Rare Soul Talk" can help with that. Good luck and sorry to hear about your circumstances. Cheers......... Pete
  3. Yep that would make sense, a cost cutting measure
  4. I acknowledged that in the preamble but seeing the 3 side by side makes it simpler to understand
  5. I was asked over the weekend how to distinguish between the 3 different Sedgrick 45s (original [1], LP giveaway [2] & bootleg of the LP giveaway [3]). I know this has been discussed at length on here but thought I would describe the differences in pictures. Main points to note... A) Colour - [1] and [3] are similar but [2] is a lighter shade of orange B) Matrix numbers - as indicated C) Credits - Only [1] has "Wr & Prod J. Vanleer". The "&" is missing on [2] and [3]. Also, [3] wrongly spells "Vanleer" as "Van leer" D) Font - [2] and [3] attempt to replicate [1] but haven't quite got it right and consequently the length of the title "Cheatin Kind" on [2] is slightly shorter than [1] but [3] is quite a bit longer than [1]. E) Appearance - The "SEDGRICK" on [1] is printed closer to the edge of the label than [2] and [3], also both [2] and [3] have a brand new appearance. Hope this helps............ Pete
  6. For set sale Sam Fletcher's classic "I'd Think It Over" as pictured. Condition I would say is about VG with multiple scratches none of which can be felt, still plenty of gloss and no problem or excessive noise on the decks. Price of £295 includes shipping from Spain to UK or Europe, full refund if not satisfied. PM to reserve. Thanks for looking..........Pete
  7. Sam & Dave still available but Flaming Emeralds was never listed?
  8. No Sam it flew out, must have been a bit too cheap! Cheers.......... Pete

Please send PM to reserve, payment expected within 24 hours. Shipping is from Spain and will be charged as follows… 1 - 4 records within Spain = £2.50; 1 - 2 singles to Europe or UK = £6; 3 - 4 singles to Europe or UK = £7; 1 - 4 singles to rest of world = £13.50. Other services such as registered, tracking, insurance or signature on delivery will be charged at cost. Unlikely anyone will be unsatisfied but if they are a no-quibble refund is available with the buyer paying return shipping costs. Happy hunting….. 1) SAM & DAVE – LOTTA LOVIN’ – ALSTON – SOLD Banging RnB and their rarest by some distance from 1964 2) JEFF PERRY – LOVE DON’T COME NO STRONGER – ARISTA – £20 - VG Bit of a grubby label on this 70s anthem 3) CONTOURS – JUST A LITTLE UNDERSTANDING – GORDY – £10 – VG+ Classic Motown, say no more 4) LEAH DAWSON – YOU GOT TO CHANGE (YOUR EVIL WAYS) – OKEH – £100 – VG+ (reduced from £300) Chances are this will be a gap in the Okeh label completists’ run. Very rare issue, loads of demos on Popsike but none of these, sits alongside the Sandi Sheldon issue in terms of elusivity. 5) STEVIE WONDER – NOTHING’S TOO GOOD FOR MY BABY – TAMLA – £5 – VG+ A bit of damage to the inner ring of the vinyl as shown 6) SYL JOHNSON – LET THEM HANG HIGH – TWINIGHT – £10 – VG Flip side of his classic “Is It Because I’m Black” and in desperate need of some exposure 7) DONI BURDICK / DEE EDWARDS - BARI TRACK / ALL THE WAY HOME - GOLDMINE - £5 - M- Nice minty bargain 8 POPCORN WYLIE - ROSEMARY WHAT HAPPENED – GRAPEVINE - £5 – VG Would be VG+ except for an edge chip NAP (fine for DJing as they say) 9) JIMMY (SOUL) CLARK – TELL HER - £10 – M- Top drawer Detroit double sider, play either side crafted by the A Team of Wylie/Hestor 10) FALCONS - GOOD GOOD FEELING – RECORD SHACK - £10 – M Fully licenced reissue pressed in limited numbers for the Aussie National in 2015. Bonus of an alternate version of "Standing On Guard" on the flip. 11) JOE SIMON – LONG HOT SUMMER - SOUND STAGE 7 - £5 – VG+ Uptempo R&B styled dancer 12) MARVELETTES – DANGER HEARTBREAK DEAD AHEAD - TAMLA - £5 – M- (with company sleeve) Another classic Motown release
