Angela Black 28 Chestnut Ave Macclesfield SK10 2BU Having recently purchased this copy of Justin - What Can I Do - from this person on May 25th through good old eBay, I am now faced with the only conclusion that the seller, above, either never had the record, or simply had no intention of sending it out to the so called winner (myself). Her only action to date is to take the payment (£68.65). Her ID with eBay - angeloppy - is now unregistered. Enquirys initially prompted a response to the effect that the record would be despatched immediately - that was June 7th. - recent emails receive no reply, and of course, no record has arrived. Looking further into the listing, there was a sound clip download from a managed webpage - There are new clips and images there now, so if you see records for sale like .... Deadbeats / Gambrells / Jaquars / Linda Jones / Rufus Lumley LP / Mickey Laney / Sir Guy Armond / Eldridge Holmes / Dixie Cups .... and a few others, then BEWARE. Although the eBay ID is now obsolete, I'm sure she's ready for a new start with a new ID on either eBay or someplace else. This person may send you your record, she may not. There was no hesitation to steal a mere £68.00, the value of the Deadbeats, for example, would be infinately more. If you bought and paid for it, would you actually get it - possibly .. The Entertainers who performed "I'm In Love With You" are alive and well and performing in Carolina. A fair few years ago (about 1997/98) I tracked down the Group online in a vain attempt to obtain copies of this disc. It became apparent they either didn't have any, or just weren't interested in locating copies (plenty of ads and links to, as then current CDs , performance schedules arrived, but that was all. Here is a photo of the group from 1997/98 And here is a more recent photo They have recorded a couple of albums, a fair few singles (Cool Me Out, Anyway You Want It, Ten Ways Of Loving You, etc) and obviously old and new stuff on CD's and CD compilations. The Lp does contain, aparts from 'I'll always Need You' and "Love Love Love", two other tracks not available in any other format. "I'm In Love" "When you Call Me Baby" (Yes, it is the same song) I've been after this LP for about 20 years (I was going to buy Soul Sams for £35 , but miised out - tracked the guy who bought it and he recorded the 4 tracks above for me - Still got the tape but sound quality is pretty poor). If anyone does know of a copy knocking about , I would be prepared to pay for it. How recent? - I've had one of these for about 11/12 years now, and it DOES have the Fred Cagaanan credit under the Mixed Emotions at the bottom. Does this mean its a reiss etc? - if it is, it's not recent - the record was not brand new then (1994/5). about a Vg++ minute marks etc. Here's a picture - I bought this from Soul Sam I think, or maybe Tim Ashibende.
