Still finding my way around this site, Its always a stab in the dark at wether the event will sink or swim. My main plan as a promoter of these events was to indulge myself in the music that my heart race. Now with 6/7 events under my belt over the last 3 years, I feel more confident in saying that we could run 3 a year. The dates are looking like March, July & November I can be more specific if you ask. ( id like to see who is actually interested in these events). This one, started with Kev Berry, he did'nt play backing music, he came out all guns blazing and set the bar quite high. Steve Taylor was more than up for the challenge, he kept the dance floor full till he handed it over to Brian Rae. Brian is in his comfort zone at the level of classic tunes. He never dissapoints, I would say that as i've long thought that his music was right up my street. Ella followed, why this girl has'nt been snapped up by other event organisers is a mystry to me. My concluding thoughts: we provided the tunes, and the dance floor, the rest was down to you; And what a great night it was. thank to 1 and all. geof.

Do you know was a smashing night. Really enjoyed myself and danced lots....crowd were a mix of oldies and youngsters and a few in-between :) just like the tunes to my ears :)

Very friendly no chin strokers and no pantomime dames either so it covered most bases without being pretentious or lame.......heard lots of underplayed tunes and saw lots of happy people; great venue, lovely dance floor and plenty of cheap drinks kept me happy :)

Excellent night well done X
