Sadly won't be travelling on my scooter but will look to hire a little twist and go whilst there and join in with the scooter ride outs

1000 miles by road from Newark on Trent so a wise decision tho your lambretta Sx200 would be a joy to behold on the coastal road south from Collioure which rivals the Amalfi Coast for breathtaking and dramatic scenery .

My scoot is a robust piece of kit but I think even it would struggle with a thousand miles especially with what Gleny's packs in her case.  It's bad enough going to the Cleethorpes national and that's only 50 miles away from us

If anyone's struggling with accommodation for this one there's plenty of campsites in the area , hotels etc . Drop me a pm and I'll send some links as its best to book well in advance as its the French national holidays and 'festival time' .

Amazing how they ride in shorts and flip flops even on this road in the clip, most scooterists in this country these days are in full armoured gear, however, the weather could have something to do with it.
