Well after the 'stomper' Charity Soul all-dayer at Harrogate its back home to the 'Old Manifesto' at Kellingley Club, Knottingley, for round two of the Charity Soul band waggon.

I fully understand that in 'call me Dave's' austerity regime that it is very difficult to attend and contribute to every Charity event, but if you are at a loose end on Bank Holiday Monday and would like to support a worthwhile cause, then the Old Manifesto is the place to be. Friendly down to to earth 'soulies, who enjoy a good 'craic', great atmosphere and a newly extended dance floor to enhance the dance room space  for back-drops, spins and kicks etc from the likes of K. K.Ken and crew (lol)

£5:00 on the door entrance, food available all day and cheap bar prices plus with a fine array of  DJ's lined up such as the inimitable, well respected and revered Mr S. Seaman you cannot ask for more

just 24hrs to the charity soul alldayer at the kellingley soul club ,great music and may I repeat all for a great cause, if any man can find the cure for prostrate cancer it is professor maitland whose  lab at York university is doing pioneering  stem cell research to find the cure for this terrible condition that strikes so many of our friends down +his research will also help combat other forms of cancer in the future ,so please if you could join us and with the door tax of £5 +raffle +merchandice sales we can all help the prof in his tireless work to find the cure

Just a quick note for attendees, that due to construction/demolition work the entrance is thru' the main door NOT via the usual side entrance, take note of the Brenton Wood "Gimme Little Sign (s), Girl"

Dave in HASAWA/Balfour Beatty Mode
