It's a mix but not too much Northern, mainly R&B, Motown and 60s Mod tunes.

We went up there while having a weekend away in Edinburgh with no expectations - that was back in May 2013 and have been up there probably 10 times since including a New Years. I'm up again this weekend from Derby (and celebrating a a special birthday). Very friendly crowd who welcome everybody, friends we have taken up have loved it and in terms of the music, I think it's great. Lenny's spot on, it's a mix and I've danced to pretty much everything from Tony Galla, Bobby Garratt, The Chosen Few, Dee Clark (below), Perry & The Harmonics to even the Spencer Davis Group. Hand on heart we've enjoyed it every time we've been up.
