Now in its seventh year, SSW is probably the most musically forward thinking boutique weekender in the U.K. with 5 arenas catering for Funky Northern/Northern Soul, insanely rare Modern and Boogie, Funk, Jazz Edits and House fans alike who travel from all around the world who travel to attend this melting pot of soulful sounds.  Held on one of the best and most modern holiday parks in the U.K., at the stunning Stanwix Holiday Park in Cumbria, just twenty minutes from Carlisle on the beautiful Solway Coast, it offers some of the best function rooms and facilities available for a weekender event such as SSW.  The 5 star accommodation is among the very best any weekender has to offer and for SSW7, there will be TWO MILLION pounds worth of new stock onsite to compliment the already existing top of the range chalets, static homes, glamping pods and camping and touring facilities...We really do have accommodation to suit every budget.  

SSW has now firmly established itself as a MECCA for people that love the PURIST and most UNDERGROUND forms of SOUL and HOUSE MUSIC around, played by the WORLD'S TOP DJ's and EMERGING TALENT from around the globe and all on the highest spec sound systems available.  Also the performances from both LEGENDARY LIVE ACTS & newly discovered talent, many of whom make their debut U.K. appearances at SSW is what makes SSW so special.  We think our strap line "for purists, not tourists" says it all!
