Another brilliant afternoon at The Twisted Wheel seems to get better and better if that's possible, a big thanks to Pete John Jock and guest DJ Gordon for keeping the dance floors full playing some fantastic tunes, lots of regulars and quite a few new faces of those I spoke too they loved it and will be back for more.

Already looking forward to our friend Jools guesting on the 26th Feb, we will definitely be there and early as usual.

Hail, Rain & Snow!.. And its off to the Twisted Wheel Club we go! ... And they did in their 100's!

A BIG THANK YOU, to you all who travelled to the Club, on such a dreadful day on Sunday, the 3 Lads who came on their scooters told me that they nearly got blown off them with the wind.

But what a Brilliant, Fantastic turnout, despite the horrendous weather, we had with people who travelled from -

Edinburgh, Middlesbrough, Newton Aycliffe, Liverpool, Blackpool, Buxton, Llandudno, Wrexham, Crewe, Northwich, Wigan, Glossop, and everywhere else in between, besides filling all the Free Pubs up in Manchester City Centre.

A big thanks to our guest Deejay Gordon Toole who did a great job for us on the day, along with John Green and Jock Heron.

It was great to see Craig & his lovely wife from Salford looking so well.

I'm looking forward to our next Sunday Afternoon Soul Session on 26 February with our guest Deejay Jools Metcalfe from the Harold Soul Club.

Thanks again.

Ps.

Not bad hey, for a Club with an "Original 100% Vinyl Floor"  !!

Hi to TimB and the Buxton Crew

Wheel on Sunday - Just spoken to our guest Deejay Gordon Toole and he told me how much he is looking forward to Sunday and the Hotel is booked for 4 of them for the weekend.

For the Wheelers who I don't see on Sunday, and are going to the Jersey Weekender next week, have a safe journey and a great time.

Pete.

IMPORTANT WHEEL DATE CHANGE FOR SUNDAY THE 27 AUGUST 2017   And a date for your diary.

"The Twisted Wheel Club" and its DJs are proud to announce that they will be supporting The Christie Hospital Charity Day at The Printworks, Manchester on 27 August with a Day/Night of the Soul Music that made the Twisted Wheel Club in Manchester so famous!

This Christie Charity Event at The Printworks will be MASSIVE and will be attended by 1000's of people like the last 2 previous years, and hopefully raise £1000's of pounds for the Christie Hospital again.

Please attend this event, because sadly cancer in one way or another touches us all and you never know if you or your family will need their help.

Best Regards.

Roses and Chocolates? If you want to do something special for the Lady in your life, for Valentines weekend.

Why not bring her to The Twisted Wheel Club on Sunday, if she is into 60's Soul & Motown she will love this Club!

No One or Nowhere, will ever replicate the Wheel at Whitworth Street Manchester, but this Club is the nearest you will get to it!

With NO "Etch A Sketch" Dummy Whitworth Street Signs on the stage in this Club.

Hope to see you all on Sunday in the Basement, at this Unique 60's Club in Manchester City Centre.

Hail, Rain & Snow!.... Its off to the Wheel we go,..... And they did in their 100's.

And what a great afternoon/night it was. Thank you.

I will write a review soon on what was a Fantastic Day.

Ps.

I have just been told of a comment "lovin' the Vinyl Floor" ? Probably by somebody who has never been to the Club!

Why do people have a go at every opportunity the can!

Jealousy comes to mind!

I can take The Twisted Wheel Club anywhere with a Polished Floor of my choice!  But I choose the Club that I have got!

And if you ever went to the Wheel at Whitworth Street,  which I doubt as you were too young to go!  We danced there on flags!!

And a friend of mine who is a very good dancer said to me "Pete, if the Music good you can dance on Broken Bricks."

Pete.
