Thanks to those of you that tuned in to the previous Divine Chord Gospel Show.....after a brief hiatus in the studio, it was nice to get back in the chair and share some new discoveries with you. Here's the archived mixcloud link; DCGS pt. 70 is just around the corner so please join us on 27th April @ 2pm US PDT (10pm UK GMT) for 60 minutes of the good stuff....soul music you might not have heard before, from uptempo primed for the dancefloor funky cuts, to low slung, sweet & deep soulful daggers. Get on board and ride the DCGS train with us, why dont'cha! And for the second hour, 3pm til 4pm, I'll be presenting pt. 7 of 'Time-Less'....a show that focuses on the beatscapes of 90’s club culture. Here's a link to pt. 6, to give you a taster; Tracks that were forward thinking in production techniques, ground breaking in textures & time signatures but yet often forgotten. With the 2000’s came the advent of more powerful computers, easier accessibility to software & an ease to create at home; beatmakers of the 90’s had to either adapt their analogue techniques or fall by the wayside. We’ll be unearthing some of the cream of the crop, both the classic & the obscure, that still relied on outboard gear, physical mixing desks and insane wired up patch bays to get the job done. With it came a certain warmth, particularly when it was arguably the last bastion of dance music to promote, press and present their music solely onto vinyl….a celebration of a special time in beat making. Join us as we spin the original format of what truly was a ‘Time-Less’ age.

  11. Shipping from California = $4 within the US, $13.50 worldwide Bill Murphy & Mistery - Praise his name (Spirit of God Records, Inc.) G+ Price in US DOLLARS = $150 + shipping Clip; https://www.dropbox.com/s/ing2oku3mjekgqv/Bill Murphy.mp3?dl=0 Incredibly rare and tough to find disc....I've located one other spare in 6 years of looking, a VG- copy that sold for $250 on SS. The 45 for this sale does not come with the picture jacket and the 45 has clearly been stored for some time without a sleeve. Plays with pops and clicks throughout the first 30 seconds, but with no jumps with the tonearm weighted at zero. Plays well for the remainder of the song. This is a tough turn up and sounds mighty fine alongside excellent steppers such as New Way - Holding on (Prestige). Please check the clip thoroughly, thanks!

This Friday 7th April on dublab.com; http://dublab.com/ We're excited to welcome back to the turntables, a tastemaker DJ that's properly gone global....it's the return of; JONATHAN MORE Read about his work as one half of Coldcut right here;; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coldcut It's not often that the phrase 'nuff said' really apply to a DJ....but this time, it's totally justified. Mr More has been part of the tastemakin' musical process since the late 80's, guiding beat heads through a journey of patchbay rhythms, JV1080 ultra pads and Mutator board filtrations. He joins us to slay us once agian with his 45 rpm crates.....essential? Nuff said. Your host Greg Belson will be selecting beats, pieces, rarities, forgotten funk, serious soul and anything else he can grab from his well stacked crates. It's a celebration of the 7" single like no other, so join us please! We broadcast on Dublab.com from 8pm US PDT (4am UK time), perfect to tune in live for the pre-club sessions in California, and the back-to-mine party in the UK!
