What a brilliant night!! music, venue, friends & dj's ... Well done Martin, what a shame you lost out on the deal tho! I would be quite happy to pay a couple of quid more to get in!! as I'm sure a lot of others would too, as far as numbers go I thought it was comfortable with 106! another 100 surely would make it overcrowded! always great to see Wazz & Wazzette & glad you liked the cd! once again I came away with a little wazz momento ....it was a fantastic flyer for the manor hotel crickhowell with a free sample of the "essential" white powder! talc! ......erm, well I think that's what it is! .... yes, the directions on the back say "spread contents on the floor" ( as usual Mart didn't read the instructions!! ) see you at the next one! xx PS. What a great nighter!! ..... musically...the best so far!! ... It would be unfair to single out any of the djs, because they all did such brilliant sets! the atmosphere was spot on, it all seemed to just come together perfectly! well done Mike for listening, tweaking and fine tuning all the little gripes people have had in the past! Great to meet up with all the usual suspects of course! thank you very much Claire for the fan.. really thoughtful of you xx I think I was 50-50 with my time spent upstairs & down! and heard so many quality tunes .... earnestine eady - lets talk it over, Betty Fikes - prove it to me, Contours - first I look at the purse! and loads more my brain won't let me remember at the moment! then at about 5.15 a.m my night was well and truly made when Sandy Hadley - since I found a love was played!! Fantastic!! a tune I have only heard when I go to Cambridge and see Tony Dellar!! ...I did request it when Ted Massey was at Gloucester but he said he had sold his copy!! I think Des Parker played it? certainly tempted me onto the floor along with quite a few others!! A Big thanx to Wazz & Wazzette for the cd of his last set at Winsford...brilliant! listened to it on the journey home! .... and the get well soon message! what a lovely couple you are! last but not least always good to see my old Cambridge soul buddy Irish sorry this is now starting to sound like an oscar speech! ... .....I'll get my coat!... & see ya at the next one!
