Our next 'Spirit of The Orwell' at Haydock Golf Club is THIS Saturday 25th November. DJ's will be Flanny, Barry Maleedy & Steve Plumb and our guest DJ will once again be the worlds #1 Rare Soul DJ BUTCH. Butch loved doing an earlier set last year, so this year will be more of the same, enabling him to play TWO HOURS from his mighty box of new and exclusive Modern Soul spins alongside his established Rare Soul classics. The night runs from 7pm until 1am (with a 12.30am bar) Local B&B info on the back of the flyer. Massive thanks to everyone who supported us last week at Haydock. Soul Sam and Arthur Fenn were superb (as always) and Meself, Barry & Flanny filled those gaps in were we could The music was amazing all night. The sound system was top quality and the staff did a great job, serving us til 12.30am and letting us out at 1am with no issues at all this year BUT the best part was the crowd. Smaller than normal for lots of reasons but the best and most appreciative set of soulies you could ever wish for. Killer tunes with a busy dancefloor all night, plus a steady stream of vists to the decks to check out what was playing. Brillliant stuff! Coupla things for Saturday - Doors open at 8pm and close at 1am (bar til 12.30) We haven't gone over board selling tickets this time, so paying on the door is fine. Record boxes are welcome, we have FISH and his mighty record stall with all the new stuff and then some, so bring some dosh and save on postage!
