  1. If it’s helpful I’m pretty certain that the Stateside issue is New Zealand only but your earlier post of Tamla Motown issue is UK only.
  2. Copies of this were around in 1970/71, maybe earlier? - pretty sure it was played at places around that time as I knew of it and had a copy about then. Perhaps someone else can confirm where it was played out for you - hope that helps, cheers Dave
  3. Crikey Julian there’s a name from the distant past . Tubby used to end up at Dave Scutt’s in Clarence Road in Southport along with Legs (both from Accrington as I recall) and many other folk after the Mecca and possibly the Torch if my memory serves me correctly. Hope you’re well Julian cheers Dave
  4. Looking for an excellent condition and label of this and also Belita Woods I Still Love You on Epic for a fair price. Thanks - please pm if you can help Thanks Dave
  5. UK copies of these items are a better investment - they'll virtually last for ever!!
  6. Just Like The Weather and A Love Reputation must be up there as sound-a-likes!!
  7. I think the Nolan Porter review above was when Patti Austin etc were on. The PA was dreadful as it was for Bobby Womack at Blackburn some years ago. Perhaps that’s down to the promoters me thinks being skinters and spoiling what could have been great experiences. Hey ho won’t be going to these organiser/s events again twice bitten and all that. Best couple of shows for me were Stevie Wonder in Manchester a couple of times a few years back - brilliant
  8. In Ex or better if you have one please pm me with a reasonable price please cheers Dave
  9. Still looking for these, thanks
  10. TMG507, TMG511, TMG521, TMG544, TMG569, TMG729, TMG875 and finally TMG882 Please pm me if you have any of these for sale for a reasonable price. Must be in at least Ex condition with clean labels Thanks, Dave
  11. Lots of folk on Soul Source are record collectors and some will own very rare 45s that you’ve gathered over the years often decades after its release. However what is the very rarest soul record in your collection that you were lucky enough to purchase on release. It might also be interesting to know why or what influenced you to purchase it.
