  1. Charity fundraising event in aid of Cancer Research. As its name suggests, this is the third such event. The previous two were held in Hemel Hempstead (and were both sold out and they were both brilliant nights) but the Organisers have opted for a more central location this time round. ALL proceeds will go to charity and ALL of the DJs are proud to work on a no fee basis. DJs on the night are Phil Baker (Soul Train Radio); Andy Hooton (Soul Legends Radio); Mark Leonard (JFSR); Andrew Fentiman and Mary Lucy. Music-wise you can expect a feast of Soul; Disco; Boogie; House; Funk & Jazz-Funk classics from the 70s; 80s and beyond!!!!!! To be held at The 2Funky Music Cafe, New Park Street, Leicester LE3 5NH (20:00 - 03:00). Come and dance your ass off in aid of the worthiest of causes - see Flyer for ticket details etc.
  2. I have 2 e-tickets going spare for this gig at 2Funky Music Cafe in Leicester on Saturday 25 February 2017. £27.50 each.........that's face value including the booking fee. The buyer would need to arrange to meet me outside the venue as the tickets are part of a block-booking of 10. Payment by PayPal please. Any interested party should make contact through either this forum or by email: djnautilus61@gmail.com

  9. Hi all, On Sunday 2nd March I'll be presenting the third of my fortnightly shows on the community radio station Ashbyradio.co - the best way to access the show is either through Facebook or the following link: https://ashbyradio.co/ I play a mixture of tunes from "back in the day" - see topic title. The 5th show, scheduled for 16th March will be an 80s Groove Special and on the 6th show, on 30th March, I'll be playing 100% Jazz-Funk. The emphasis is very much on the music!!!!! It would be nice if some of you could "tune" in and join me in the appreciation of some quality music. A good boogie around your lounge will burn off those Sunday lunch calories nicely!!! I've attached the playlists from the first two shows - they give a general idea of the theme of my show. ARC Week 1.pdfARC Week 2.pdf Cheers, Andy H (Funky YamYam)
