  1. Can I have the Brown Sugar please
  2. Belated thanks for the Eugene Church 45 Rod. Great condition at fair price. Fast delivery as always.
  3. Probably around 15 years ago I went in a record/cd shop in Concord New Hampshire. The guy in there said they dont really deal in records anymore and indeed the entire ground floor was given over just to cd sales. He did say though they did still have some 45's in the basement at $1 apiece if I wanted to go down there. I did of curse and was staggered how many there were. Unfortunately they turned out to be all modern country overstocks - mainly well known artists hits and many duplicates. All appeared mint and unplayed. I went through the lot just in case there was anything and came out with 1 45 only . Rodge Martins "They Say" on Dot. Must have thought that was country too.
  4. he had played the Mojo already yes. I didnt go to that night. Only saw him at Down Broadway.
  5. Funny enough yesterday I was putting my flyer from the Billy Stewart Down Broadway gig in a new frame after 50 odd years !
  6. I saw Billy Stewart at Down Broadway too. Absolutely fantastic. Not long after saw Bandwagon there on their first tour. It had a short life but was a great club. Didn’t bother with the progressive nights but remember John Peel doing a few spots on the progressive record only night there ( Monday I think). And also remember hearing Pete playing the Dells “Stay in my Corner” there the week it came out in one of his famous slow spots that were a feature of the Mojo. And talking about Bland again remember Pete playing his “Rockin in the same old boat” on Action week it came out.
  7. Talking about Bland and the Mojo, Robert I definitely remember “Don’t cry no more”and “Turn on your Lovelight” being played in my early days there ( I first went in Match ‘65). Stuck them on my first soul wants list on the back page of one of my school exercise books.
  8. Spellbinders "Help Me "/"Danny Boy" UK CBS 202453 from 1966 with company sleeve Original issue of this great 60's club classic. Replace one side of your Direction reissue this nice original ! vg + condition £40 plus postage.
  9. Mac Rebennack “Sahara”/“Good times” Ace 611 George and Greer “You didn’t know it but you had me” Goldwax 313 Vg+ or above. I have seen the ones on discogs by the way.
