3 daughters, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 1 owl, 2 parrots, 100+ aviary birds, 2 fish & 1 hamster so my sanctuary when not working long hours is Motorbikes - recently moved onto SuperMoto from GSXR750 Sports bike (scared me to much). Also I do as much hill climbing and walking as possible although this is very painful the pay-back are the views. My third vice is Northern Soul which started in 1977 and ended when Wigan shut. But like so many others I have been born again for about 3 years and have just started collecting vinyl - don't tell the wife.

  2. Hey Mike, that 3 months flew by - really looking forward to Gloucester on the back of Lifeline & Brighton, I just hope my legs survive. I will confirm numbers next week but hopefully another car full. Save us a space on the dance floor good buddy. KTF Steve D
  3. Hey Mark, wicked night, danced a lot more than you for once, legs have never ached so much, which unfortunately is another sign of a great night. Trouble is, I had a climb arranged at Snowden on Monday, so I now have cramped cramp and blistered blisters. You & the ace DJ's still deserve a mega hand shake next time we meet. KTF Steve D
  4. Christian - We are all set and leaving tomoz at 6:00am for a 1000 mile drive and the beginning of our 12 day holiday. We have been looking forward to this week for an age so keep an eye out for 3 guys, 1 gal and 3 Lammys. KTF
  5. You know me, I always feel cheated otherwise, so I will hold Mick to that one. However, I was refering to Nuneaton and your speedy exit - not tonight though hey? CUL8R
  6. Hey Tom, just Mark & myself in attendance this month but will dance twice as long to make up for the skivers. Can't wait to hit that cracking floor - I hope you & T are staying all nite this week - lol, KTF
  7. Crap end to a cracking night Mark. Can you or Daz work out which garage from google earth then street map to get the name of the garage, then google to get the phone number. Good luck in your detective work. See you on 11th June if not before - Steve
  8. Thanks for a fantastic night Mark - cross the board or what? The good/bad sign for me is muscle spasms whilst driving home and you got me again. Whoop Whoop - here's to the next anniversary.
  9. Tom & Pat - What a great night yet again at Sonic Soul, this venue will go from strength to strength as word spreads though the grapevine. Can I suggest a white line is painted in the reception leading to a hand bag, if punters can walk straight and not stop for a dance at the bag, then & only then can they come in. You might need a stinger for the odd joy rider in a wheel chair. Other than that I can make no further suggestions to improve this cracking venue. Hopefully see you all again next month.
  10. Hey, Tom just 3 of us tearing down the A14 - race on - see ya tonite
  11. Tom & Pat, what an impressive night, defo the better of the two venue's. Every single sound was mega and danceable as proven by my soaking pink shirt. (not wearing that again) Did the sprinkler system go off? I hope I am free for the next 11 nights of the year. Here's to a soulful 2011 at Sonic Soul. KTF
  12. Kerist Rosemary - judging by the number of posts you must be right regarding the quality of Burnley Allnighter. Joolz, Mark, Matt & I are looking forward to our 1st at the Kestrel. Really looking forward to seeing the bats oh yes and a dance or two. xx
  13. Ali, I couldn't have put it better myself. Music quality was top draw, but mostly too obscure for Joolz, Mark & myself. The problem is that I personally cannot dance to sounds previously unheard - my loss I know. Never-the-less we had a great night socially so thank you for going out of your way to welcome us and introduced us to some of your soul buddies especially Rosemary & Willie. Venue wise we all thought it was ideal, easy to find, parking, size etc. Just needed more people or at least a larger percentage dancing - which comes back to your sentiment regarding across the board NS to help fill the floor. See you very soon - I am desperate for a dance as I stocked up on carbs Friday and never used them. KTF - Steve x PS: How was Blackpool? I hope you satisfied your dance fix.
  14. Mike - Coming again in force to the 1st Wotton Hall nighter of 2011 - Happy New Year to the Gloucester faithful - KTF
  15. Just ordered 4 tickets so coming up in force from Midlands - 1st time at this venue - photos look amazing - KTF
