  1. Definitely Dave Withers - had many 45's from him back in the day. He was jointly responsible (with Rod Shard) for the boat load of Danny Moore "Somebody New" 45's that turned up post Wigan. Cracking bloke Oh.... and the music was over-dubbed
  2. I remember it and have a vague memory of it ending up with Kim Styles or Kitch however I could be very, very wrong on that. Like you, not heard it for ages in fact I'd forgotten all about it. Steve
  3. Had an email this morning announcing that Brewery Town Records are rising from the ashes and starting afresh. Personally, I hope they fail miserably as their previous ventures caused nothing but misery for many - myself included. If they have funds to start afresh then they should start by refunding those conned from previous dealings. Disgruntled of UK Steve
  4. At work with no sound on the PC but I have to say......... that's dreadful
  5. I have to say the BBC have done the music scene proud (and probably given many people an insight into the evolution of the LBGTQ scene and racial struggles too) with a superb selection of documentaries and historic concerts. Well done Auntie Beeb
  6. It's a shame that Paypal doesn't do historic claims going back a year and a half
  7. Chalky.... is a beast dancer someone who kicks the sh*t out of anyone who gets in the way
  8. Yes they certainly are and I've still not received my two copies even though they said they would look into it. Extremely disappointed to say the least and with it being well over a year ago I have chance of a Paypal refund either. I'll keep my thoughts to myself as having just laid my wife to rest on Monday it would be foolish to launch a tirade of abuse on them even though I know I wouldn't regret a word of my feelings Steve
  9. I believe it's a legal requirement . Not seen her in years.
  10. I really want to watch that but am struggling to watch any TV at the moment. Hope they keep it on the player for a few weeks
  11. OK no problem. Had your last one so if you get another please give me a shout Steve
  12. I'll grab that if still available please Steve
  13. I ordered two copies but have still not seen them. My confirmation of shipping was e-mailed to me almost one year to the day of ordering and yet.... still nothing. I'd appreciate someone looking into this and resolving the issue please Steve
  14. Regarding the Nurons fiasco... I did get a reply saying they would look into it and to rest assured that the copies would be despatched. No further replies and certainly no 45's from them. I'd be wary about their exploits
  15. If you haven't grabbed a copy yet there's a two page feature on Shrine Records in the latest issue. Scans of all the issued 45's are included with a little background info on each along with what Record Collector consider to be current market valuations. For once, they are not far off the mark in my opinion. Credits as always go to Ady Croasdell and Andy Rix. There's nothing new that we don't already know but it's just a nice piece in a magazine that does it's best to cater for the record hounds amongst us. Steve
