  1. Hey Tobes, that old git they managed to get to come in and play a set for us,.........it would'nt happen to be you would it? Anyway you got any propper records? The last Groovesville was wicked so been looking forward to this one. Looking forward to catchin up with some old mates too. I've only got one worry, I hope Andy makes it back from his Scouting trip in time.
  2. I was so sad to hear that Trev. had passed away on Monday, and my sincere condolences go out to Mandy and family. Trev. was a lovely bloke who always made a point of having a chat or share a joke whenever we met,and although he'd been ill for some time, recently having to make frequent visits to hospital, he would never whinge or moan about his problems only about the state of some of the music that was being played. Rest in peace mate and I'm sure you've gone to that place where they only play the good stuff. Melvyn
  3. Hi Dave, hope you ok, haven't seen you for a while? Look forward to seeing you on the 21st. infact might even pop up to Wellingborough and give you a bit of support. Like you said its only about 20 miles so should only take around 30 mins. Have you got any idea when you are on? All the best Melvyn
  4. Morning, Sorry we're a bit behind with this one but me and the Lads from Groovesville will be coming along to add a little support to this great cause. The Groovesville Club have decided to donate prize for the raffel and will be bringing it with us if thats ok. We hope its a great turn out, me and Toby look forward to seeing you all soon. Best wishes Melvyn
  5. Hi Ady Me and Toby will be down to see you all later. All the best Melvyn
  6. Hi John, how ya doing, or should I say, "Buenos dias. Como esta's mi buen amigo"? Be good to see ya again, will give you a call as soon as I get there. Hasta luego Melvyn
  7. Hi T, Thanks for the offer, might just take you up on that, would be great to be able to have somewhere to change and dry off. See you at the bar Babes x
  8. Thanks for the thoughts and the ideas but I've looking forward to comming to this weekender since last year and was'nt going to risk missing it so I've just booked a room at a hotel in town. Not the way I wanted to do Cleggy coz I'm sure it won't have the same buzz but at least I've got a room with a shower and who Knows I might even make it back there for the full english breakfast in the mornings. Like I said before, I've got an empty car so anyone who's stuck for a lift give me a PM. I'm leaving St.Neots around lunch on friday and they kick me out of the Hotel at 11-00 on Monday. Would be gld of the company. See you all soon Melvyn
  9. Hey Toby, thanks for that. Like Toby said, all I need is a little floor space, I've got my own bed, it's a blow up one and her name is Raquel and I promiss we won't make too much noise
  10. Hi T. hope you'r ok, Don't suppose you know if that cardboard 'yurt' is still there as I need a place to stay and I'd be glad of anything? Cheers Melvyn
  11. Hey Fellow Children of the Night. This is a plea for HELP!!! Due to circumstances beyond my control I now find myself without accommodation for the weekend. I'm quite small, very clean with next to no bad habits. I know that its very short notice but is there anybody out there who wouldn't mind putting me up for the whole weekend. To help I know have an empty car and will be traveling up from St. Neots just after lunch on Friday and hope to be setting off for home when they kick us out on Monday. Been looking forward to this for ages and would hate to miss it Hopefully Melvyn
  12. A great big thankyou to Molly and Lorraine for putting on yet another first class night of soul. It's such a shame there wasn't more people there to enjoy it. those that were there were treated to some truly amazing sets of soul music by some truly amazing DJ's, well done boys and thankyou. I myself felt both happy and sad, happy that there was plenty of room on the dance floor for me to practice my windmill style of dancing (all arms and legs) and sad for Molly because I know how hard he works at getting this event as perfect as he possibly can, and, does he deliver. I've only got one thing to say to you locals, TOUGH SH*T YOU MISSED A BLINDER!!! Had a great time catching up with all me old mucker's and it was nice to be introduced to Karen at long last. Finally on a personal note, I hope you stick with it Molly coz for me this event is one of the best, and I think that its up to the rest of us who've enjoyed all of Molly's past events at the Gallery to push it, and next time bring all of our like minded mates so that the next one gets the success it truly deserves All the best Melvyn
  13. Hi Molly, Steve Jay at the gallery, .... it just gets better and better. See ya there mate
  14. Simple Chris, its coz I live on my own and it might be my only chance to eat this week. Promise not to make a mess on the dance floor though See
  15. Hot Chili, seems to me we could have snacks with attitude as well as the music with attitude...... mmmmmmmmm....... bring it on! see ya soon
