Hello and welcome to the March 2017 Sales list. A few of the highlights below!

Northern Soul – Not many rare ones in this section. There’s a minty Eddie Hughes “Soul searcher” and then a bunch of cheapies, all in nice condition and alot of musically great ones so look closely.

Crossover – Justice Dept and Dale Darby, LA rarities utilizing the same backing track. Two superb ones on Volt Records – Roz Ryan and Newcomers “Open up your heart”. Bonnevilles killer double header “Play it cool” b/w “I’ll be right there”. Fifth Avenue Band “One way or another”, Festivals “You’ve got the makings of a lover” and many more.

Modern Soul – rarities in the form of Village Choir “Sweet hot lips”/”Along the beach” (vinyl, purple label versions), Lamar & Belinda Dunn, Billy P. Hughes on Charli-Barbara. But the real strength here is in musical quality, solid cheapies from Dede Warwick, Touch of Class, Smoke, Wales Wallace etc etc.

Deep/Sweet/Group – Some real nice 45’s here too. Webs super indemand “It’s so hard to break a habit”, Soul Pushers, Mandells “All or nothing”, Exit “The little green monster” plus a row of cheaper but equally good ones.

There’s also a small 12 inch and a LP section.

All orders to kmarthon@gmail.com please!
Another reminder as half of tend to forget this – I need payments in GBP (and not SEK) so please make sure to choose GBP in both currency fields. And as usual payments over £150 needs to be sent as gift, or add 4% to the total.

Best Regards,

Karl

Soul Albums

Five Stairsteps – s/t – Windy C / EX/EX / £45 (Usually not a fan of kiddie soul but this 60’s soul album is solid listening throughout. We can problably blame Curtis Mayfield for that. Personal standouts in “World of fantasy”, “Don’t waste your time” and “Behind the curtains” but again the whole LP is good. DJ stamp on back cover.)
