(Not one you’d ever dream of given their early outings, but an iconic dancer, red and white demo from Atlantics Memphis pressing plant, plays M-)

Jeanette Williams – All of a sudden – Back Beat 568 Ex+ £125
(Collectable texan label femme dancer)

Tommy Navarro – I cried my life away – De-Jac 1253 Ex £200 SOLD

(Has an unusual fault line for about a 6th of the run out groove near the label edge, can't see it, but it can be detected by sound, DNAP, some light surface marks, will stand the turntable and storage)

Shane Martin – I need you – Epic 10384 Ex £175
(Yellow stock copy, few light marks hence grade, plays M- name on label)

Kim Weston – Thrill a moment – Gordy 7041 WD M- £100
(White demos, the best way to own Motown)

Little Willie john – I'm shakin – King Vg+ £125
(R&B belter, been popular for some time, dh, light rw and visible surface marks, but plays loud and clear, I’d say Ex at least, seen in Vg+ for 200 this week)

Chalfontes – He loves me / Confessin’ my love to you – Mercury 72474 M- £100
(Girl group double sider, fabulous rich red stock copy, small nick on “Confessin” label edge)

 

Detroit Soul – All of my life – Music Town 502 Ex £220
(A top record, like a cocker spaniel but on vinyl, you can’t hold keep it boxed up so let it run free, just a couple of light pops ½ and ¾ way through)

Paul Anka – I can't help loving you – RCA WD M- £125
(Provided a clutch of excellent tracks for the scene, some minor paper marks, plays M- bar 3 light pops at the run out, off white label)

Montclairs – Hung up on your love – Paula Ex+ £50
(Pink miss-press, plays “hung up” not “How can one man love” as titled)

Phillip Mitchell – Free for all – Shout 244 Ex+ £75
(Great copy of this crossover dancer)

Saxie Russell – Psychedelic soul – Thomas 1639 WD Ex+ £425 HOLD
(Super rare demo, date and x on label, a couple of visible but minor paper marks on the styrene, plays beautifully though)
