George Jay/fantastic Epics

10 posts in this topic

what sort of sound is the george jay?early group or what? was he a producer or label owner? ezzie

the george jay record is really good, I think he was white or hispanic, though, it's on the Texas Dynamic label (same as commands). It's a midtempo group record, maybe from like 1967. There are a bunch of other george jay + rocking ravens records but the other ones aren't really soul records, they have more a "teen" / doowop sound.
