"Unsung Heroes of Soul" is a documentary film about the musical legends that created the Sound of Philadelphia. Writers, arrangers, musicians and engineers describe their unique experiences working with producers Kenny Gamble, Leon Huff and Thom Bell. Together they created some of the most successful pop music of the 20 th century.

Songs like "Love Train" "If You Don't Know Me By Now" "Soul Train Theme" "People Make The Word Go Round" "Ain't No Stoppin Us Now" and many others that collectively came to be known as Philly Soul."
