July 13, 20168 yr Author Examples of the Schaefer beer ads .... these were made for TV, whereas the contest jingles were for radio .... Schaefer kept running their music festival, unfortunately it mainly featured rock acts after 1971.

July 13, 20168 yr Author A lot of decent soul acts made these Schaefer Beer ads, singing jingles in praise of the beer. I wonder if anyone kept copies of any of the jingles. He was loved when he was alive, and now he may be gone, but he is still, and always will be loved, and missed.
April 17, 20187 yr Author Towan, the music he made (both in the group and solo) is still well loved ... you should be really proud of him, he perhaps didn't fulfil all his musical dreams but he certainly left us with some great tracks.
