A test/intro/announcement post of a 'new' feature that will be opening today here on Soul Source Basically  a  'classifieds' feature that will allow members to offer longer term classified type sales listings. Ideal for longer sales types as more deliberate than the forum listings  Free listing and offers the use/integration of many Soul Source features, plus new such as members stores etc etcc  

Next wave of improvements to the Soul Source Event Guide starts with the first opening of a built in review featureSimilar to the existing comments  this feature works in parallel with the comment the thinking being its usefull for the more deliberate members after event views At the end of the first day of the event - a review tab will automatically  show next to the comments tab - see below for the after event view Note the title changes after the event from "comments" to "reviews and comments"  and as after the event the reviews tab is in focus but the comments are still available to read and post On the reviews Members can then post up a "how it was for them" review complete with a out of 5 star ratingThinking is this will offer a new worthwhile and an enjoyable aspect to the events side on here Also other members can class the reviews along lines of  "most helpful" = 'yes' or 'no' here's the first review...any questions, views as always  please post below...this forum is now public so do bear that in mind when posting also this is the first days runnings and while tested on modern browsers its not 100% tested yet - eg tablets, phones and old browserscheersmike  see it in action herelatest  reviews will be displayed thru out the site as improvements continue 

During the late 80's well respected and knowledgeable soul man Pete Smith produced a fanzine documenting British releases of Northern soul records. The fanzines proved to be a very interesting read (imo) and with kind permission Pete has agreed that they be uploaded for your pleasure.I realise that not everyone is into English releases of American records, however, I'm sure that you will find them an interesting read.I have uploaded issue 1 and hope to upload further issues in the near future.Regards BobBeatin Rhythm Issue Number 1.pdf
