As a poor twenty something living a sheltered high life in the early 80's, the first time I heard Edward Hamilton's 'Baby Don't You Weep' must have been on either a Grapevine 45 or album (haven't got them to hand at the moment).
The version on the new and very wonderful 'Lou Beatty's Detroit Soul' CD is different to the oone I'm familiar with. I know it was issued twice on 45 but were they different mixes or is the Grapevine version different?
