seeing people list video's seen on your tube etc. It got me thinking about how or what video's would have been made for Northern soul.

For instance a promo video made for a song that can be used on say VH1 classic or would they take the performance from top of the pops, ed sullivan show etc.

You can't just use some live gig filmed in say 1965 because it would be common someone films a live gig and uses it as a way to put a Northern soul track/video on some channel and say this is Northern soul.

For me the one i see most is a video made for Jackie Wilson - I Get The Sweetest Feeling
