Has anyone here ever had a problem with a seller who is shill bidding? Have you bought something that you would have got cheaper, but for the item being obviously bid up by the seller using an additional alias? Did you report it and what was the outcome, if any?

I'm waiting to see the outcome of a bid & then I'll probably name and shame

You can not stop this sort of thing dude......I know lads i work with that do it for each other when they are selling cars on E Bay !!! The same thing goes on at all motor auctions ! Just decide what you are prepared to pay for the item and stick to your price man! This sort of price pushing has been going on since the year dot!
