(Thumping dancer, one for the car, immaculate copy, and machine stamped matrix number and the Rockway pressing plant ‘R’)

 

Eddie Holland – Just ain’t enough love – Motown 1058 WD M- £65 HOLD

(Motown knocked out some absolute gems, many of which went on to become commercial hits, others lower profile collectables. This is one that transcends much of Motown’s vast catalogue to stand above the rest by its simple melodic beat, Eddies silky smooth vocals, and the glorious backing from the heaven-sent Andantes. “Hitsville” is where it came from, “Dreamsville” is where it takes you)

(Anthem, slightly faded label with drill hole, plays lovely)

 

JoAnn Courcy – I got the power – Twirl 2026 WD Ex £850 SOLD

(Powerhouse femme out of Detroit. The label has lifted at some point in its history, which has left some minor ruffling and a sliver of a tear, other than that the surface has some minor marks, none of which would play grade this less than Ex)
