I must say thanks and big up to Andy Rattigan, because he's been able to follow the mood of my set without knowing what I was going to play! Hopefully you'll find some fresh and/or forgotten sounds! Defo brassier that YHU Joe Turner - Two loves have - Philips FR PS - When I bought it I hoped it was some straight old style blues kind of number :-| Harlod Melvin & the Blue notes - The love I lost - PIR IT PS Nancy Holloway - Tu n'es pas venu - Decca FR Wicked "Whirlpool" rendition by Nancy. This was unknown to Yann Vatiste... Definitely a nice R&B track, although the arrangement is a bit sparse, and boy, what a voice she's got!!! Marie Knight - Cry me a river - Musicor IT PS Irene Reid - I must be doing something right - Pilgrim This is one for the funketeers, it's a lovely midtempo Tamiko Jones - Let it flow - Contempo IT PS - Well, a bit too long and a bit too disco, whatever.... James Brown - World - Polydor IT Juke Box - This one had Steve Cato & co. well interested, innit mate? Etta James - Mellow fellow - Argo (by now you should have noticed I love women with big gritty voices ;-)))) Big Ella - It takes a lot of loving - Lo Lo Another pounding number! Paulette Parker - Gimme back - Duke B. B. King - Heartbreaker - ABC Bluesway A.C. Reed - Boogaloo tramp - Nike Lowell Fulson - No hard feelings - Kent That's a bloody wicked piano riff if you ask me! The Voices of East Harlem - Gotta be a change - Barclay FR PS This track is powerful as I dunnowhat, it's got a drive of its own The Fawns - Nothing but love can save me - Capcity Lloyd Price - Love music - GSF Marco
