Originally destined to be released by Saxony back in the early 60s, but did'nt because according to their footnotes for some reason Berry Gordy prevented its release. Then ten years ago, to coincide with the release of the "Saxony record vaults" Cd. it was pressed up as a 7", but somehow has slipped under the radar of us soulies until as far as I am aware I came across it last year. then after almost a year of constant searching for it I found a small handful of them. So, here is the track for sale. I've been playing out in Norwich (& has been getting a good reaction on the dancefloor) & was recently played nationally on Radio Solar. I have received an email tuesday morning from the Manager of NCFC / Delia's Canary Catering to inform me that the R&B night on the 1st October has been CANCELLED. I can assure you that I am personally very disappointed by this decision and that I made every effort to keep the event open. all the best Martin :-( -
