HI Folks - The Next Grasshopper Soul Night will be on Friday, 30th May, 2025 @ St Anthony's Social Centre, Fulwood, Preston. Usual time 20:00 thro' till 00:30hrs. Our Guest DJs will be David Burke & Julie Val, & Rick Barker - together with the resident team. Looking forward to seeing you all again - put it in your social diary now! Angie & Dave, & Johnny P. NOTE: The Car Park is behind the Church & the Social Centre is behind the School, path is in the corner of the Car Park. Note: not where Google maps say it is!

Grasshopper Soul - Christmas Party Night @ St. Anthony's Social Centre. This is our next Northern Soul and Motown night on Friday 27th December, 2024, when our Guest DJ's will be Julie Val & David Burke, together with Rick Barker and the usual Team. Usual start time 8:00pm thro' till 12:30. Wishing you all a Happy and Soulful Christmas with your friends and family and we'll see you on the 27th for a good catch-up and plenty of dancing. This Friday, 27th September, we're back at St. Anthony's for Grasshopper Soul. Our guest DJ's are Mark Isles and Rick Barker - so it's looking good! Julie Val & David Burke will be helping out too! Well we're back at St. Anthony's for a Northern Soul & Motown night on Friday 30th August. Our Guest DJ's will be Paul M Hughes and Rick Barker. *** IMPORTANT MESSAGE *** Unfortunately, we will not be able to hold our monthly Soul Night at St. Anthony’s in JULY (Friday 26th), as they have a existing booking. We have deliberated with alternative dates, but there was always a clash with other venues. So the next Grasshopper Soul night at St. Anthony’s will be on August 30th, 2024. The IN CROWD (Blackpool) Present a Charity Event - "Sunday Soul & Ska by the Seaside" at the Bispham Conservative Club, 70 Red Bank Road, Blackpool. FY2 9HY. This is a Charity event - entry is by donation! All proceeds will go directly to the Charity.
