The Soul Couple really enjoyed the film at Pictureville in Bradford. It was a nostalgic look at the 70's A bit of a love story with a Northern Soul backdrop! some good footage although the dance off' scenes were nothing to do with the scene in the 70's. If you get a chance go out and see it - it's a film!!

Fair point!! - Whitby is a great venue with a superb dance floor. You will be hard pressed to find anyone who does not enjoy themselves. As for Brid as I said we have not been to the weekenders but we have visited the Spa and the venue is first class and looking at the previous photos and feedbacks soulies have a really great weekend. What I will say is that Whitby is a much nicer town!! You pays your money and you takes your chances!!

Not this old argument again?! We have only been to Whitby but many of our friends go to Brid and some go to both. Both are well attended and great value for money!!!!! We have always had a great weekend! Is is not a matter of supporting as many of these weekenders as possible? what would we do if all the promoters said they had had enough of all the backbiting and stopped organising such events we would all be moaning then!!!!! If you don't like the price don't go!!! Looking forward to Whitby and meeting up with old and new friends.
