Just a few days to go before the next Walkden Legion. After the success of Joys fantastic fund raising evening earlier in the month for Christies ( which so far has raised over £4, 000) we will be holding another raffle at the Legion on the 31st, any prize donations will be much appreciated. See you all on the 31st.

Thankyou Linda, the fabulous looking speakers 😁, were part of the air purifying system put in place instead of the air conditioning, much healthier, there were six units in use yesterday, all part of keeping the club Covid safe.

Tomorrow sees our first day back at the Legion. We are likely to be extremely busy so if you wish to be guaranteed a seat at a table please make arrangements to arrive early. Correct money on the door would be a great help please, this will enable us to see you safely and quickly into the venue without a delay queuing. For those that like to know the days schedule the dj times are attched to this post. Hope to see you tomorrow.

Apparently over the weekend there was a degree of confusion regarding the "Legion Of Soul" Walkden All-Dayer. Yesterday an All-Dayer was held at the Top Club in Little Hulton but was advertised as Walkden! Due to this error we received a few phone calls yesterday enquiring about Walkden Legion. This is not the first time the Walkden name has been used to promote another venue! Just to clarify and save any further confusion ; Walkden All-Dayer takes places at Walkden British Legion, Wilfred Road, M28 -3AJ on the last sunday of each month and is in no way associated with events that take place at the Top Club. Many thanks to everyone for their continued support and we hope to see you some of you on 28th of April.
